UPDATE: Yesterday, we launched the Independent Scientific Committee on Drugs’ first piece of research – Drug harms in the UK: a multi-criteria decision analysis at the summit. The event was held under Chatham House Rule to enable participants to speak their minds freely, however, we will be publishing outputs from the event as soon as possible. In the meantime, the full paper is available to read for free on the Lancet website. We welcome your feedback. Summit jointly hosted by the Independent Scientific Committee on Drugs and the Lancet, Taking place at the Kings Fund, London on 1 November, this exclusive summit will bring together drug scientists and policy professionals from around the world to look at the key issues on how to produce the best evidence on drug harms; and how drug science can and should impact on drug policy.
