Tickets are available to attend in-person at our London venue OR you can register for a live-streaming ticket. It would mean a lot to us if you would kindly give a charity donation to Drug Science and MedCan Support when you register for your ticket. If you decide to attend the live-stream but have already registered for an in-person ticket, please remember to cancel your in-person ticket so we have an accurate idea of numbers.
What is the UK Patient Conference?
To coincide with Medical Cannabis Awareness Week, we’re excited to announce the first Medical Cannabis Patient Conference in the UK this year, hosted by Drug Science and MedCan Support. This daytime event will be a chance for the medical cannabis patient and prescriber community to come together and celebrate one another’s journeys.
The UK Patient Conference is open to the general public, created for medical cannabis patients and anyone interested in learning more about cannabis-based medicines. This way we hope to bridge the wide gap between cannabis industry and recreational-focused events. It is intended to become an annual get-together for our community that will help put Medical Cannabis Awareness Week, on the world’s radar.

What can I expect on the day?

Speakers will include medical cannabis patients, prescribers and advocates – centering around panel discussions and personal stories. Please note that applications for speakers are now closed. There will also be plenty of time for socialising and networking.
Food will be available to buy at the venue during the day, including delicious caribbean food cooked on-site at the Oval Space. There will also be bars selling drinks, with lots of alcohol-free options as well as alcohol available.
There will be various exhibition stalls at the event space showcasing organisations from the medical cannabis industry, so you can find out more about the sector and what different charities, clinics and businesses have to offer.
A full schedule for the day will be released in October.
‘Anything Can Happen’ UK Premiere
UK premiere of new documentary ‘Anything Can Happen’ – We’re honoured to be hosting the first screening in the UK of this new film about medical cannabis for treating children with epilepsy. The screening will be followed by a Q&A featuring the film’s producer, Chase Gouthro, and one of the subjects of the film, Dr Jen Anderson.
